Contract employee to Scottsdale Insurance Company (A Division of Nationwide Insurance.)  On the S.I.C. account I assist in the deployment of a new web portal for independent agent offices to manage customer and account information worldwide.  This is a virtual server environment featuring RHEL 3.6 and 4.0 Virtual Machines on top of VMWare ESX, with a clustered Sun/Solaris & Oracle database backend.

 

o Extensive administration of RedHat Linux (RHAS 3.6 & 4.0)

A contract employee of Xerox Connect working onsite at Fidelity Investments in Northern Kentucky. As part of the administration team, I helped build and maintain all aspects of the computing environment at Fidelity. We managed over 150 Sun servers ranging in size from desktops to E6000's. My duties included everything from physically assembling servers and installing the OS, to installing and supporting the in-house applications that ran on them. Some highlights include:
