The night we waved goodbye to America… our last best hope on Earth.

“The pain, so unexpected and undeserved had for some reason cleared away the cobwebs. I realized I didn’t hate the cabinet door, I hated my life… My house, my family, my backyard, my power mower. Nothing would ever change; nothing new could ever be expected. It had to end, and it did.  Now in the dark world where I dwell, ugly things and surprising things…and sometimes little wondrous things, spill out in me constantly, and I can count on nothing.”  –  Bob Arctor

March on Washington

Ron Paul calls for a March on Washington.

I’m hoping for April 19, 2008.  The day of the American Revolution for Independence.   I’ll be there.

Marie

It seems like yesterday
But it was long ago
Janey was lovely, she was the queen of my nights
There in the darkness with the radio playlng low
And the secrets that we shared
The mountains that we moved
Caught like a wildfire out of control
Till there was nothing left to burn and nothing left to prove

And I remember what she said to me
How she swore that it never would end
I remember how she held me oh so tight
Wish I didnt know now what I didnt know then

Against the wind
We were runnin against the wind
We were young and strong, we were runnin
Against the wind

And the years rolled slowly past
And I found myself alone
Surrounded bv stranners I thought were my friends
I found myself further and further from my home
And I guess I lost my way
There were oh so many roads
I was living to run and running to live
Never worried about paying or even how much I owed
Moving eight miles a minute for months at a time
Breaking all of the rules that would bend
I began to find myself searchin
Searching for shelter again and again
Against the wind
A little something against the wind
I found myself seeking shelter against the wind

Against the wind
Im still runnin against the wind
Well Im older now and still
Against the wind

No taxation

Without representation.

How many of you (living in the United States), ever stop to think about the mathematics of our government?

We The People are 300,000,000.  Three-hundred million.  And we are told what to do, and how much to pay, and whom to war with, and whom to kill, by just about ~540 wealthy individuals.

Does anyone else think that those proportions are ridiculous?  Shouldn’t we start shifting power back to the State and local areas, and away from a centralized (and heavily corrupt) Federal Government?

Isn’t that one of the things that Our Founding Fathers feared most?

Ron Paul!
